Nicole Ibalio

Summer Student

Nicole Ibalio is a second-year law student at the University of Alberta. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy. Over the summer, she focused on the relationship between the notwithstanding clause and the Charter, Alberta’s constitutional history, and the revitalization of Indigenous legal orders.

Currently, Nicole serves as an editor for Alberta Law Review and as VP Public Relations for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. Outside of law school, she loves matcha lattes, long walks, and karaoke.
